The UPS Store Canada is the largest chain of print and copy centers. It is Canada’s largest franchised chain of business service centers. It is part of a North American network of more than 4,700 business service centers, with more than 360 stores operating in Canada offering a wide range of business services.
It provides an online print portal for the convenience of its customers who may wish to upload, customize, even create their documents online for print at their preferred store location.
Requirement
UPS Store Canada implemented multiple Web-to-print platforms over the years but could not achieve its online results and integrations at branch level. Its goal was to launch a Common Public Retail Storefront to increase retail sales and connect its 360 print store locations for order fulfillment.
It needed specific order, production flow, and branch management capabilities. OnPrintShop (Booth N1607) developed a solution where end-clients were able to select, personalize a wide range of print-on-demand products online via the UPS Store Canada, and select a specific branch to pick up the product via Google Map Branch Locator. They could order online and pickup from the nearest branch in minutes.
“The relationship between The UPS Store Canada & OnPrintShop has been tremendous,” says Bill Ibberson, VP, National Print. “We were able to successfully launch a new online storefront offering a wide range of print products automatically assigned and fulfilled by the closest UPS Store. All with the convenience of next-day service and locations to serve our customers from coast to coast.”
