Grant Enables Cenveo to Invest $2.25M in Its Ennis, Texas, Envelope Converting Facility
STAMFORD, Conn.—January 12, 2016—Last year, Cenveo Inc. made one of the envelope industry's largest facilities investments with a new envelope converting factory in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. This week, the company is pleased to announce another significant investment through a long-term commitment to its Ennis, Texas, envelope manufacturing and stocking location.
The $2.25 million investment is the result of reaching a long-term agreement with the company's new landlord partner, Blackstone Group LP, and the support of the local Economic Development Corporation and the City of Ennis. With their help, the company was able to obtain a grant to foster job growth in the region, as well as the addition of interior climate controls, distribution improvements, and folding equipment upgrades further enhancing one of the Southwest’s premier envelope converting facilities.
The company produces over 400 million envelopes each month in the state of Texas, servicing clients throughout the United States. The Ennis, Texas, facility offers a wide range of capabilities, including high-speed booklet and catalog envelopes, multiple closure types, and quick-turn production of specials. In addition, the Ennis location provides enhanced flexographic printing and four-color jet printing.
The company continues to look for opportunities to improve production and distribution efficiencies while investing in personnel, facilities and product development in order to provide customers with top-of-the line envelopes and unmatched capabilities.
