Cenveo Profits Fall, Worldcolor Improving

STAMFORD, CT—Cenveo Inc. suffered a net income loss of more than 90 percent year-over-year for the quarter ending Oct. 3. The third quarter earnings stood at $1.1 million on net sales of $448 million, compared to $12.3 million in earnings with $522.7 million in sales for the same period in 2008. Adjusted EBITDA for the three months was $56.3 million.

Montreal-Based Worldcolor saw some improvement in its quarterly report. It reported third quarter combined consolidated adjusted EBITDA of $103.4 million compared to $94.2 million for the same period a year ago. Combined consolidated operating income before impairment of assets, restructuring and other charges was $51.5 million, compared to $33.7 million in the third quarter of 2008. Third quarter revenues were $769.9 million compared to $993.6 million in the third quarter of 2008.
