Cenveo Closing Dallas Plant, 71 Positions Lost

STAMFORD, CT—Commercial printer and envelope specialist Cenveo Inc. plans to shut down its Dallas envelope manufacturing plant on July 30, resulting in 71 layoffs, according to the Dallas Business Journal. The newspaper cited a Cenveo filing with the Texas Workforce Commission.

Cenveo did not mention a reason for the closure in its filing, according to the paper. Bob Burton, chairman and CEO of Cenveo, could not immediately be reached for comment.
