CGS to Introduce New products
MINNEAPOLIS—September 1, 2009—With myPRINT just around the corner, CGS Publishing Technologies International would like to review its latest product announcements which will be on display at the show.
Leading the displays on the CGS booth will be ORIS Press Matcher, the just-announced winner of the 2009 PIA InterTech Technology Award. New for the show is ORIS Press Matcher//Web™ bringing the ease and flexibility of the web to an already powerful color management workflow for digital presses and wide format and which will be driving a production line featuring a Xerox 700 Digital Color Press, an Epson Stylus Pro 7900 and a virtual proofing workstation to demonstrate perfectly matched color across multiple devices.
Demonstrating its wide acceptance in bringing the highest quality level to digital printing, ORIS Press Matcher will in action on the Xerox booth (1100), at MGI (4329), at Roland (4886), at Screen (6100) and at Fujifilm (6919).
Also new will be ORIS Color Tuner//Web version 1.1, now incorporating Adobe PDF Print Engine and a host of new features including automatic certification of remote printers. A color bar is created, printed and measured without any user intervention, compared against target values and then a label is printed directly on the proof. ORIS Color Tuner//Web now includes ORIS Soft Proof for a complete web-based View – Print – Certify production workflow including delta-E monitor checking and enhanced screendot proofing.
