Explosion in China Leaves One Dead, 11 Injured

BEIJING—One worker was killed and 11 more were injured last Sunday after chemicals at a printing company here exploded, the China Daily reported. Hazardous chemicals spilled and ignited at Duoccai Printing in Beiqijia Town, Changping District. The blast caused a wall to collapse, crushing a worker to death.
The explosion sent 11 other employees to a local hospital. The fire itself covered an area of 1,000 square meters, according to China Daily. Police are investigating the blaze.
