AlphaGraphics Top Executive Coley Resigns
SALT LAKE CITY—AlphaGraphics Inc. announced that Art Coley Jr. has resigned as the franchisor's president and CEO to spend more time with his family. Coley, who has been with the company seven years and CEO since February 2012, will remain as a part owner and continue working with the company as a full-time consultant.
"After the unprecedented success during our last fiscal year, it's clear that AlphaGraphics is well positioned to continue its rapid growth," said Coley. "I have family responsibilities in Texas that can no longer take second place, and AlphaGraphics deserves strong leadership at world headquarters in Salt Lake City. I look forward to continuing my work with our incredible franchisees and finding the successor who will take our team to the next level."
Gay Burke, executive chair of the AlphaGraphics Board, is now serving as interim president and leading the search with Coley for a new chief executive. Burke joined the company in January 2013, bringing with her a wealth of executive experience. As the top executive at Pumpkin Masters and at Houston Harvest, she helped both companies achieve 80 percent market share. Burke has also operated as an area developer and franchisee with Naked Pizza and founded a company that developed a healthy frozen pizza for national grocery distribution.
