Collins Ink Terminates Its Inkjet Supplies Agreement for Kodak Versamark Printers
CINCINNATI, OH—October 11, 2011—Collins Ink has posted the following statement on its Website:
Effective immediately, customers are able to purchase Collins branded inks for use in Kodak Versamark high-speed inkjet printers directly from Collins Ink. Collins has terminated the supply agreement that has been in place between the two companies for the past 10 years.
Collins Ink’s plan is to do what we have done for over 20 years: produce high-quality inkjet inks and provide exceptional customer service. We price our inks fairly and try to maintain an open and honest relationship with all of our partners.
If you are currently purchasing Collins Ink branded products, you will now purchase them directly from Collins. Collins will handle all order placements, customer service, invoicing, and shipping. Additionally, you will now find that the prices you pay us will tend to be lower than what you paid Kodak for our inks. If you have issues with paying less for your fluids, please let us know.
If you are currently purchasing Kodak branded fluids, please feel free to contact us, as we can provide you with a list of comparable Collins branded products. As stated before, fluids purchased directly from Collins Ink will tend to be lower priced. Again, please let us know if that will be a problem.
If you have any questions or would like to place an order, please contact us at (513) 948-9000 between the hours of 8-5 EST, Monday through Friday.
