Color-Logic Certifies Case Paper's Paperboard Substrates
HARRISON, NY—January 27, 2014—Color-Logic, developer of the Process Metallic Color System, has certified Case Paper’s Sonata Silver and Sonata Rainbow laminated paperboard substrates for use with the Color-Logic process in inkjet applications. The substrates—available in thicknesses from 0.08 to 0.024 point—are appropriate for folding cartons, point-of-purchase displays, book covers, and other commercial printing applications.
Commenting on the certification, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing Mark Geeves said: "Our Color-Logic certification tests clearly showed significant advantages of Case Paper Sonata Silver and Sonata Rainbow laminated paperboard substrates when used for package prototyping. Not only are these materials appropriate for use with the Color-Logic process on UV inkjet equipment, but their folding and creasing characteristics make them particularly well-suited for package prototyping."
