ColorDynamics to Acquire Fellow Texas Commercial Printer Superior Graphics
ALLEN, Texas and DALLAS — January 25, 2017 — ColorDynamics and Superior Graphics has entered into a definitive agreement under which ColorDynamics will acquire Superior Graphics. Superior Graphics, a 45-year-old company, is a large-format and digital communication company specializing in promotional and point-of-purchase (POP) signage.
“By combining two world-class organizations, it allows us to close the loop and offer customers the most comprehensive package in the industry. In the past, customers expected printers to specialize in only one area. Now they demand partners that can do it all,” said Matt Coltharp, president of ColorDynamics.
John Ehrenberger, president of Superior Graphics, recognized the value and versatility delivered from this acquisition. “We are excited about the opportunity this creates for our customers and employees. The combined abilities of both companies will deliver a powerful portfolio of options for customers of both Superior Graphics and ColorDynamics.”
The combined companies can offer wide-format graphics up to 120” wide from UV-cured flatbed and roll-to-roll devices, high-quality graphics on flexible media using Latex ink technology, along with HP Indigo digital printing up to 20x29" sheets with reportedly the only HP Indigo 10000 digital press in Dallas. Web presses up to eight colors with Texas’ most versatile in-line system with variable personalization. Sheetfed is available in both UV and conventional inks on presses up to 10 colors with double coating and perfecting capabilities. Complete post-press services including fulfillment, Web-to-print technology and mail services as a certified DMU are now standard offerings across both facilities.
