Colter & Peterson to Showcase Its Large-Format Capabilities at the SGIA Expo in Las Vegas
PATERSON, NJ—August 11, 2014—Having struck a chord with the audience while attracting better than expected booth traffic and inquiries at last year’s show, Colter & Peterson (booth 4016) believes this year’s motto that “Everything goes; anything is possible”, is quite accurate. North America’s largest independent distributor of paper cutters and paper handling equipment will showcase its large-format capabilities when the SGIA Expo convenes October 22-24 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
With a reputation for manufacturing the industry’s most reliable, durable and technology laden paper cutters, C&P’s largest series is the Saber XXL. Manufactured to ISO-9001 standards, these workhorse machines range in size from 65-126” and deliver precise, accurate cuts. New features include an upgraded hydraulic system, cut optimization, automatic knife setting, and the availability of automatic waste removal.
The Saber XXL line with its electronic system has a proven track record of improving processing time and eliminating timely bottlenecks during production. These units come equipped with the unique Microcut system and includes a 15’ operator touch screen. Microcut is extremely popular with over 30,000 worldwide installations and with good reason. Each user-friendly system is automated and memorizes cutting sequences instantly so the backgauge will automatically position itself to deliver a cut within 1/64th of an inch.
Colter & Peterson also excels at providing large-format handling equipment from Schneider Engineering. Company officials in the booth will be promoting the high-performance robotic and guillotine systems with loading and unloading capabilities.
