Royal Printing Joins Forces with Modern

QUINCY, IL—Royal Printing has merged with Modern Printing, the owners of the respective companies announced. The combined entity will do business as Royal Printing, the Quincy Journal reported. The move was effective Thursday.

Modern Printing is in the process of relocating its operations to the Royal Printing facility, a move that will take several weeks. Dan Asbury (Royal) and Kevin Curran (Modern) will manage the combined operations while Dave Rees, who purchased Modern along with Curran in 2000, will step aside to concentrate on another business.

Asbury obtained Royal Printing in 2001.
