Miniature Folder Is Big Addition to Trade Shop
PROVIDENCE, RI—Ocean State Binders recently installed a two-station Vijuk-G&K V-14 SAF commercial/miniature folder. The trade shop performs every kind of finishing, including cutting, folding, stitching, collating, Wire-O binding, plastic spiral binding, perfect binding, GBC binding, kitting, miniature folding and more.
"The addition of the folder has allowed us to produce many jobs in a fraction of the time it used to take; we are now able to get down to 5⁄8˝ without a problem," reports President Bruce Boyarsky. "The ease of setup, the consistency of the production run and the folder's reliability make the Vijuk a great asset for our company."
The day after installation, the trade finisher ran its first job of 150,000 pieces, three-up, in three hours.
