The Graphic Arts Association (GAA) has named Douglas Yeager, assistant chairman, COO and senior partner at Alcom Printing Group, Harleysville, PA, as its Neographics 2013 "Person of the Year" award recipient.
Greg Shapiro, president of H.O.T. Printing & Graphics in Northwood, OH, recently received the American Advertising Federation's Silver Medal Award. Shapiro is the first printer to be honored in the 100-year history of the club.
Trend Offset Printing in Los Alamitos, CA, has selected Georg Decker, an industry expert in the circular business, to join its executive team. Decker, along with a recent investment in two Goss C-700 insert presses, will position the company's strategic locations as major national retail print epicenters.

He now serves as a member of the Proforma executive team overseeing Proforma's North American Major Account (NAMA) team and assists Proforma owners (selling between $400,000 to $1 million annually) to identify key strategies to help them advance to the Million Dollar Club and beyond.
McClung Companies, in Waynesboro, VA, has named Larry Miles president and CEO. Miles, formerly vice president of sales and marketing, replaces Tom Trevillian, who will continue to serve as chairman and oversee strategic development.
