Flottman Co. Makes AMA Awards History
CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY—Often only recognized for its printing capabilities, Flottman Co. was recently acknowledged for its efforts in marketing, communications and design by the Cincinnati chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). The association named Flottman its 2013 Small Business Marketer of the Year, in addition to choosing Flottman Director of Marketing and Communications Ed McMasters as Individual Marketer of the Year. This marks the first time that the same company has won both awards.
The first award was given for the company's WOW multi-channel marketing campaign, which resulted in more than 226 story placements through 82 different media outlets for a total of 16,622,248 total media impressions. McMasters received his award for a New York Times media campaign.
Two new appointments have been made at Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative). Mike Fogarty has been named global executive director, and John Tenwinkel is now responsible for the implementation and growth of Dscoop University as its new director.
In addition to his current title as COO, Steve Anzalone has been named president of Indianapolis-based HardingPoorman. Anzalone became a HardingPoorman partner in 2005 and has held the COO position for the past five years.
Jessica Ehrlich has joined the sales team at Daily Printing in Plymouth, MN.
Creative Digital Imaging, the production facility of The Creative Cos. in Bangor, ME, has hired Sheryl Colvin-Ross as senior account manager.
Charlie Corr has rejoined InfoTrends as group director of its Enterprise Document Strategy service. He most recently worked at Mimeo and was also head of operations for Harvard University's printing and publication services. Also, Kate Dunn has joined InfoTrends as director of the Business Development Strategies service. She was most recently CEO of Digital Innovations Group and a vice president at Choice Communications.
