The Printing Association of Florida (PAF) has named the recipients for its 2012 Graphic Arts Leaders of the Americas (GALA) Award. Susan Kinney, owner and president of Pasadena, CA-based The Castle Press, has been selected as the North American Graphic Leader; and Gabriel Comelli Berruti, owner and director of Impresora 
Policolor in Uruguay, has been selected as the Latin American Graphic Leader. Both Kinney and Berruti will each receive the GALA Award during the annual banquet on March 1, 2012, in Miami Beach, which is held in conjunction with the Graphics of the Americas Expo and Conference.
James Cozart has joined Boston-based 48HourPrint.com as vice president of sales and business development. During the past 25 years, he has held positions at Cenveo, Tension Envelope and Atlantic Envelope.

The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) named Hoyt Tuggle, president of Graphic Communications Corp. (GCC), Lawrenceville, GA, as its Benjamin Franklin Award recipient. The award recognized Tuggle's 51 years of service in the graphic arts industry.
Craig Harrison has joined Minneapolis-based Imagine! Print Solutions as vice president of sales. He most recently served for Publicis Groupe's production platform, Mundocom, as well as for many years at Banta and RR Donnelley.
AFL Web Printing has named Segundo Rosario Jr. as vice president of operations at its Voorhees, NJ, facility. He replaces Jim Hager, who has been selected as director of paper procurement and inventory at AFL. Rosario comes to AFL from the News Journal, a Gannett newspaper, where he served as production manager and director.
Lor Gold has been appointed global chief creative officer at Schawk Inc., Des Plaines, IL. Gold comes to Schawk from Draftfcb Chicago, where he served as executive vice president and chief creative officer.
Three appointments have been made at Greenville, SC-based Burco Promotional Printing, a subsidiary of Indexx Inc. Steve Parris has been reassigned as an outside sales manager for the company's ad sponsor program. Sam Wolfe has joined as a sales representative offering promotional collateral to major hotel brands and specializing in marketing to both regional and national museums. Michael (Mike) Fox has been selected as the new sales representative for the company's golf division, vending scorecards, yardage and rack cards, tees and tee signs, and other related merchandise. PI
