DavCo Advertising Buys 36˝ Press To Compete for Larger Size Jobs
KINZERS, PA—When growing work volumes compelled them to start looking for a new eight-up press, DavCo Advertising executives reviewed 40˝ presses sold by multiple manufacturers.
They chose a four-color, 36˝ Ryobi 924 sheetfed press equipped with a Harris and Bruno aqueous coater and a Pamarco Sentinel ink management system.
The new press has been running at least five days a week since installation. It joined four other multicolor Ryobi presses, including a four-color, six-up Ryobi 754 press with aqueous coater, which had served as DavCo's flagship press for 11 years. Co-owner Rick Esh says the press operator's learning curve was extremely quick because the 924 is so similar in operation to the 754.
