4over Celebrates Plant Reopening After Hurricane
MOONACHIE, NJ—Considering that it was once under nearly four feet of water, 4over Inc.'s plant here bounced back remarkably fast from the devastation left by Hurricane Sandy. The trade printing facility is now operating at 100 percent production.
4over hosted an open house recently to showcase the major overhaul following the storm and to celebrate the diligent work of its employees and managers. Technicians fixed what equipment they could, but some machines had to be replaced. Among the new gear is a five-color Komori Lithrone GL40 sheetfed press.
More than 500 existing customers from New Jersey and New York attended the open house. "We're so thrilled to have had the support of our loyal customers throughout this recovery period, and we'd like to thank them for keeping us in business," said CEO Zarik Megerdichian.
Shop Brings Color Digital Production Work In-House
CHATSWORTH, CA—In an effort to end outsourcing of its color digital production work, Execuprint recently installed a Linoprint C901 digital press from Heidelberg. The company is G7 System-qualified using Heidelberg's Prinect Color Toolbox suite of integrated color management solutions.
The Linoprint C901 relieves some of the burden placed on Execuprint's Printmaster PM 52 press, and has enabled the company to pull back virtually all gang work from third-party providers. Execuprint is already using the Linoprint C901 to produce short-run marketing collateral on various stocks, including synthetic materials.
