Fast Folding for Large-Size Outsert Leaflets Is Needed
WINDSOR, NJ—Due to the increase in customer demand for larger-size outsert leaflets, MedLit Graphics recently installed its second G&K–Vijuk MV-11 triple knife outsert system. "Our customers want outserts with more than 200 panels, and the G&K–Vijuk machines have an 18-plate folder so they can produce outserts with up to 266 panels," says Lakshman Samala, company president.
"For example, when we have an order for a quarter of million outserts, we will run two shifts with each MV-11 system folding 50,000 in each shift," he adds. "The machines are easy to operate and are very reliable."
Medlit Graphics provides inserts, outserts, patient medication guides and extended-text product labels for the pharmaceutical and health care industries.
