Digital Press Boosts Printer's Capacity

BALTIMORE—J.W. Boarman Co., a full-service printer located in the Baltimore Empowerment Zone, has purchased a Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS C8000 color digital press from The Phillips Group, a Konica Minolta dealer.

"As our business evolved, it became necessary to look into a digital color press to complement our two- and four-color offset printing," explains J.W. Boarman owner Edmund Eck. "The color quality of the C8000 is impressive, and the speed (80 ppm) enables us to deliver a finished product to our clients in a fraction of the time that it took before."
