Printer Remains a Loyal Customer
PLAINVIEW, NY—William Charles Printing has installed a two-color Heidelberg QM 46 press, restoring the company's small-format pressroom lineup to a total of three QM 46s. The shop also operates a five-color Speedmaster SM 102, three Polar cutters and a pair of Stahl folders. "We run our Printmasters hard, like the workhorses they are," says Charles Pellegrini, vice president, "and they reward us with top-quality products our customers admire year in and year out."

SACRAMENTO—Dome Printing, a commercial printer based in Northern California, has opened a new office in San Mateo managed by Kevin Mzanowski. This location will provide more support to clients and prospects in the San Francisco Bay Area.

SOUTHINGTON—Step Saver, a shopping newspaper that also prints several local papers, has purchased its first Tensor T-1400 tower, enhancing the color capabilities on its original Goss web press.

MIAMI—The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce gave Original Impressions its "Hearts On Fire-Large Business" Diamond Award as part of its annual program that recognizes top companies in the Coral Gables community.
TALLAHASSEE—After completing a self-study program and hosting a site visit by a team of industry and education experts, the Graphic Design and Graphic Communication programs at Florida A&M University recently received re-accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Collegiate Graphic Communications (ACCGC).
MICHIGAN
CHELSEA—Sheridan Books has added three new electronic content services (ECS) clients: Baywood Publishing, Western Schools and the Missouri History Museum.
MINNESOTA
BURNSVILLE—Cornerstone Copy Center has added a Xerox Color 1000 press to its digital printing platform.
MINNEAPOLIS—Imagine! Print Solutions has been requalified as a G7 Master Printer by the IDEAlliance.

NEW YORK—ACCGC has awarded academic accreditation to the graphic arts technology program at the New York City College of Technology, The City University of New York.

COLUMBUS—WorkflowOne, a provider of print management, marketing and distribution services, has expanded its facility here by more than 100,000 square feet.
PENNSYLVANIA
HARLEYSVILLE—Alcom Printing is using its Kodak NexPress 2500 digital production color press with a NexPress fifth imaging unit and red fluorescing ink for one-pass, in-line printing of counterfeit-proof tickets for a professional football franchise.
TEXAS
DALLAS—Texas Graphic Resource recently took delivery of a top-loading Heidelberg Suprasetter A74 with automation and debris removal system to anchor its prepress workflow.
DENTON—After merging, Eagle & Wheeler Press added a second Heidelberg Printmaster QM 46-2 to the combined entity's pressroom, using both presses to produce a variety of printed materials, from business cards to magazines to pressure-sensitive labels.
FORT WORTH—Motivating Graphics started up its new six-color, 64˝ KBA Rapida 162 press in mid-December. It is the third KBA press for the large sheetfed and web firm that provides packaging and printing for the high-tech telecommunications market.
HOUSTON—ACCGC has awarded academic accreditation to the digital media program that is located at the University of Houston.
WISCONSIN
APPLETON—Baer Printing & Design, a mid-size commercial printer, recently acquired a four-color, 23x29˝ Ryobi 754 sheetfed perfector.
