Essex Products Group (EPG) has been named the worldwide distributor for Colortronix LLC. The new products introduced last year from Colortronix are now marketed by EPG under the Adelphi brand label. The agreement expands EPG's capabilities to serve printers that use other manufacturers' ink control systems or color measurement equipment.
TRESU Royse has installed its first UniPrint Combi pressurized chamber doctor blade system on a six-color Mitsubishi V3000LX-6 sheetfed press at the MLP U.S.A. demo room in Lincolnshire, IL. It is said to prevent air from building up in the chamber cavity, eliminating foam buildup in the coating supply chamber.

A distribution agreement has been made between INX International Ink and FloClear LLC, wherein INX sheetfed and web offset customers now have access to FloClear fountain solution recycling systems.
Printing Industries of America (PIA), along with its Ben Franklin Honor Society, has named Dr. Peter Crean as its Robert F. Reed Technology Medal recipient. Dr. Crean, research fellow for the Xerox Innovation Group, has been credited as one of the three members of the initial engineering team that produced the first laser printer in 1970. For the past 20 years, he has also been a leading member of all Xerox color programs and was the founder of the Xerox color management group.
