IMC America and C.M.C. S.r.l. of Italy have signed an agreement, wherein IMC America now handles C.M.C.'s line of automatic film wrapping machines, providing sales, marketing and service backup support. With models starting at speeds to 10,000 cph, the new JWR line runs at up to 40,000 pieces/hr., with either heat or glue sealing.
American Thermoplastic made a donation to the Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The donation was based on the amount of "Pink Ribbon Collection" vinyl and poly binders, laminated and poly pocket folders, and vinyl pad holders that the company sold in 2009.

Patrick Callahan has been appointed xpedx's new director of service for large-format presses. Callahan is now responsible for overseeing all Ryobi large-format sheetfed press service in the United States and Canada. Formerly with Komori America, he reports to Don Coggswell, xpedx national sales manager for large-format presses.
Central National-Gottesman recently announced that its Lindenmeyr Munroe division has acquired the Hudson City division of paper supplier Frank Parsons, of West Caldwell, NJ.
To celebrate the grand opening of its new U.S. headquarters in River Falls, WI, NELA welcomed Wisconsin Secretary of Commerce Richard Leinenkugel and other government officials, business partners, customers and friends to an open house recently. Guests were given tours of the 53,000-square-foot facility and were able to observe various NELA product lines in operation.
At KBA North America, Soren Larsen has been tapped as the new senior vice president of sheetfed sales, responsible for overseeing the entire sheetfed sales force in North America. He now reports to Mark Hischar, president and CEO of KBA North America.
At manroland, Marty Pierce has been named PrintValue director, sheetfed, for North America, responsible for product development and sales efforts for ancillary products, consumables, upgrades and service offerings. Pierce most recently served as district sales manager for manroland sheetfed presses in the Central region.
Royce Photo/Graphics Supply, a partner and distributor of Fujifilm products and services, has moved into a new 38,000-square-foot distribution and technical support center in Salt Lake City.
Several executive appointments have been made at Canon U.S.A. and its subsidiaries. At Canon U.S.A., Kunihiko Tedo is now senior vice president and general manager of finance and accounting; and Junichi Yoshitake is senior vice president of Canon U.S.A.'s Imaging Systems Group. At Canon Virginia, Takayoshi Hanagata has been appointed chairman and Yusaku Azuma, president and CEO.
Four new account executives have been named at Finch Paper. Michael Chester is now responsible for sales in the Southeast region, with a territory that includes Baltimore, Washington, DC, and Virginia; Donald Earls Jr. is also responsible for the Southeast region, covering the Florida market; Christine Porfert is now serving the New York metropolitan-Northeast region; and Hope Sowders is covering the Midwest.
A partnership has been forged between Xerox Corp. and On Demand Books, wherein both companies will jointly market and sell the Xerox 4112 copier/printer together with the Espresso Book Machine. With the Xerox 4112, the Espresso Book machine produces a 300-page book in less than four minutes and has the capacity to print more than 40,000 paperback books per year.
Todd Blumsack has been promoted to vice president of sales for Xeikon North America, a division of Punch Graphix. He now reports to Michael Ring, president of Punch Graphix Americas.
