Standard Finishing Systems has realigned and expanded its management team. Mark Hunt has been named to the new position of director of strategic alliances; Don Dubuque has assumed full responsibility for the marketing team as senior marketing manager; Paul Steinke has become a national account manager; Dan Desmond has been promoted to business manager, VIVA inspection and KAS mailing systems; and Jack Mathews has joined the company as business manager of office production systems.
Two appointments have been announced at KBA. Ralph Drozt has joined the company as a sales representative overseeing its small-format press line in the Midwest states of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri and Iowa. Based in Chicago, Drozt will focus on the Genius 52 UV and the new Rapida 75E. Also, Michael Kummert has been appointed executive vice president for production, supporting the two main KBA sheetfed and web press factories located in Radebeul and Würzburg, Germany.
Several appointments have been made at Ferrostaal Equipment Solutions North America. Sales members include Mike Isaksson, regional sales manager serving the Midwest and selected other markets in the United States and Canada; William Stahl, sales representative serving the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states; and Mark Booth, sales support manager. Technical support members include Chris Kearns, service and parts manager; and Hiep Nguyen, staff technician. Customer service team members include Jessica Hyden, Carrie Roberts and Michelle Klassen.
Buhrs Americas has named Kevin Daly president and CEO of the company's North American operations. Daly joined Buhrs Americas in 2007 as CFO.
Jurgen Gruber has joined Fujifilm Graphic Systems Div. as newspaper account manager for the Southwest region. He previously served as director of sales for NELA USA.
Morgana Systems has withdrawn its patent infringement claims in Germany, and has licensed Multigraf AG, a Swiss-based manufacturer of print finishing products, to use its patented technology. Under the license agreement, Multigraf will be able to incorporate Morgana's technology in its new creasing and folding products. PI
