Cenveo Adds Envelope Plants
STAMFORD, CT—Cenveo Inc. is opening two envelope showcase, production and distribution facilities: one in Mount Pleasant, PA, and another in Chicopee, MA. Cenveo has made significant investments in the development of the new plants. With updated technology, the facilities’ energy-efficient equipment will significantly improve productivity and performance for Cenveo’s customers.

Lettershop Expansion for SPC
NILES, IL—Specialty Print Communications (SPC), a national, single-source-solution provider of direct mail, plans a significant expansion of its lettershop services here. The facility will more than double its current size and employ 300 workers. The new, 150,000-square-foot plant is just around the corner from SPC’s current headquarters and main printing facility, which it will retain.

IWCO Buys Two ColorStreams
CHANHASSEN, MN—To meet growing demand for highly personalized direct mail campaigns, IWCO Direct, a provider of direct marketing solutions, has expanded its digital platform with the addition of Océ ColorStream 3900 digital inkjet presses from Canon Solutions America at its facilities here and in Hamburg, PA. The added equipment provides for even greater capacity to produce highly personalized direct mail packages while also providing significant postal savings.

Colonial Press Adds Sunday
MIAMI—Colonial Press International sealed the deal at GRAPH EXPO 14 for a new 2x8 Goss Sunday 3000 web press that will triple its existing press output and boost competitive capacity across a broader range of products. The 75˝, 2x8 format of the new four-unit press is twice as wide as any of the company’s existing presses.
