Muller Martini and Sitma USA have signed a business cooperation agreement regarding Sitma's inserting and wrapping machinery for the commercial printing and newspaper markets. Muller Martini will market the machines, capable of both in-line and off-line applications, with Sitma USA handling all installation, maintenance, parts and technical support.
Fujifilm North America has reopened its Graphic Systems Division's demonstration center in Hanover Park, IL. Now named Fujifilm's Chicago Technology Center, the facility has been redesigned to highlight the capabilities and possibilities for digital and inkjet printing. In other company news, Fujifilm North America is now a Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) Gold Patron.
Komori Corp. has introduced the new PEPIO offset gravure press line, designed for the printed electronics marketplace. The line includes the PEPIO F20 (flatbed) and PEPIO R20 (roll-to-roll) presses. In other company news, Komori America has expanded its KomoriKare program with the addition of K-Supply tested and approved pressroom supplies that can be purchased directly from Komori.
PriscoDigital is now a member of the IDEAlliance, and has become certified as a G7 Expert printer.
The new vice president of marketing-print at xpedx is Beverly Pruden. Based in Cincinnati, Pruden is now responsible for expanding the company's services to paper and graphics supplies customers across North America. She reports to Steve Bowden, executive VP of marketing and strategy.
Dan Quenzer has been named the new national sales manager at Diversified Graphic Machinery, and is now responsible for the company's complete lineup of print enhancement equipment, including its Foildex in-line cold foil system, Cast and Cure holographic effect system, hot foil stamping and diecutting equipment. He is based out of DGM's regional offices in Henderson, NV.
In an effort to further expand its services to the North American market, Ferrostaal has named Montreal-based KBR Graphics Canada as the newest dealer in its equipment sales and service network. KBR Graphics will now begin to sell and service Ryobi printing presses across Eastern Canada.
Danielle Mueller has been hired as the new Internet marketing manager at Agfa Graphics, responsible for implementing Agfa's strategic social media and Internet marketing campaigns. PI
