Concord Litho Expands to Accommodate Mailing Growth
CONCORD, NH—Direct mail design, strategy and printing specialist Concord Litho recently underwent a 40,000-square-foot expansion to house new mailing capabilities, including data processing, continuous form lasering, inkjetting and insertion. The lettershop allows it to handle all aspects of the mail production cycle under one roof, lowering costs, adding flexibility and reducing turnaround times. In 2011, the company produced and mailed more than 32 million packages from this new division.
The facility includes some of the most up-to-date equipment available, which allows for high-speed, high-volume laser personalization, and 11 inserters with the ability to insert up to 10 components into a jumbo package or up to 18 components into a letter-size envelope. Components can be as simple as a straight appeal package or as complex as date books, note pads, calendars, gift wrap or greeting cards. Packages can be matched up to four ways.
Concord Litho also worked with the U.S. Postal Service to ensure fast and accurate delivery. With a USPS Business Mail Entry Unit less than a mile from Concord Litho’s facility, a postal representative is readily available to come on-site to perform verification when needed.
“Our commercial and non-profit customers who have turned to us for our innovative direct mail formats and premiums can now look to us to provide full mailing services from our facility. With a great team that includes state-of-the-art equipment, experienced operators, data processing specialists and postal experts, we are well-equipped to efficiently handle projects ranging from 25,000 to over a million packages,” said Peter Cook, CEO of Concord Litho.
