CGX Kicks Off 2011 with Indy Deal
HOUSTON—Consolidated Graphics (CGX) announced that it has acquired The Jackson Group, including Jackson Press and Total Response, both headquartered in Indianapolis. Terms of the deal were not revealed.
The Jackson Group was founded in 1961 by Ron Jackson, initially as an art studio, but evolved into a full-service printing, mailing, fulfillment and technology company. The Jackson Group offers sheetfed offset and digital printing, fulfillment and mailing solutions, as well as data analytics and online technology solutions.
"Ron Jackson and his wife Kathy have established an impressive track record in serving their customers during the last 50 years," notes Joe Davis, chairman and CEO of CGX. "With the resources of Consolidated Graphics behind The Jackson Group, including the world's largest and most sophisticated digital printing network, as well as our best-in-class technology, I expect a great future for this company."
CGX has promoted Patsy Koepke to president of The Jackson Group. A native of Indianapolis, Koepke began her career in commercial printing with The Graphic Arts Center in Indianapolis in 1999. She then joined CGX in 2004 as a vice president of national sales at Graphcom in Atlanta.
