Consolidated Graphics has the Most G7 Master Printer Qualifications

HOUSTON—May 17, 2011—Consolidated Graphics (CGX), a leading general commercial printing company, announced that it currently has the most G7 Master Printer qualified companies in the world through IDEAlliance, the non-profit industry organization that develops, educates and validates best practices in publishing and information technology. CGX currently has 46 companies that hold this distinction, with additional sites in the process of reaching G7 Master Printer status.

G7 is IDEAlliance’s industry-leading set of best practices for achieving gray balance and is the driving force for achieving visual similarity across all print processes. The Print Properties and Colorimetrics Council of IDEAlliance define the G7 method. The application of this method enables printers to reproduce a similar visual appearance across printing types and substrates.
