Courier Starts Off Strong in New Fiscal Year

First-quarter revenues for the segment were $9.1 million, down 3 percent from last year’s first quarter, with the decline spread among all three businesses. The segment’s operating loss for the quarter was $1.1 million, versus $1.3 million for the first quarter of fiscal 2012, excluding last year’s severance and post-retirement benefit expenses.
