The book manufacturing segment focuses on three markets: education, religious, and specialty trade. Sales to the education market were down 8 percent in the quarter, but up 4 percent for the year to date, with the largest proportion of sales at the college and university levels. Sales to the religious market were flat in the second quarter, but up 3 percent for the first six months of the year, driven by growth in sales to our largest religious customer. Sales to the specialty trade market were up 11 percent in the second quarter, but down 2 percent for the first half of the fiscal year. Sales at Courier Digital Solutions continued to account for a growing percentage of total book manufacturing sales in both education and specialty trade.
