Courier Reports Sales Up, Earnings Down Due to Plant Closure

• Sales to the education market were up 2 percent in the quarter and up 3 percent for the year to date due to increased sales of four-color textbooks for colleges and universities, though sales at the elementary and high school levels were off as many publishers elected to defer orders until closer to the elementary and high school textbook season.
