CP Graphics Installs HP Indigo 7600 Digital Press; Opens Western Region Sales Office
TUCSON, Ariz.—January 5, 2016—CP Graphics, a marketing solution provider based here, is reinvesting heavily in the future having finished 2015 with a bang. Quadrupling revenues over the last four years, CEO Jake Walker attributes CP Graphics’ strong and steady growth to two factors: 1) recruiting the most talented team in the business and 2) continuously reinventing itself to help national and international clients capitalize on technological advances in print and digital marketing.
CP Graphics’ current suite of services includes custom web-to-print solutions, variable data campaign management, work flow automation, data integration, graphic design, commercial print production, mailing services and fulfillment and ad specialty products.
In preparation for another strong year ahead, CP Graphics recently expanded its fleet of HP Indigo presses in Tucson, adding another HP Indigo 7600. According to Walker, the latest equipment upgrade will support another 30 percent output increase.
To help maximize that output, CP Graphics recently opened a western regional sales office located at 4900 N. Scottsdale Rd in Scottsdale, Arizona. The satellite office is helping CP Graphics serve an impressive list of clients like Emerald Connect in San Diego, Radiant Research in Phoenix, Assetmark in the Bay Area and Broadridge Financial in 14 countries.
“By helping our clients streamline print asset management through work flow automation, we’ve been able to import lots of dollars into Tucson and keep it here with 100 percent of our production staff based in Tucson. That’s been a winning formula for us and for the community. We don’t plan to alter that course,” Walker said.
CP Graphics’ western regional sales office will be headed by Haris Heldic. Recruited out of Arizona State University in 2013 with a degree in Graphic Information Technology, Heldic has been employed for two and a half years as CP Graphics’ operations manager in Tucson.
Walker met Heldic when he was a student employee at ASU’s award winning Print and Imaging Lab. Impressed by his working knowledge of bindery, prepress, press operation, Web-to-print, and customer service, Walker told Heldic he would have a job waiting for him when he graduated. Walker kept his promise and Heldic became the first in a string of talented graduates Walker has recruited from the ASU Polytechnic Campus.
“We’re excited about our westward expansion for two reasons,” explained Walker. “With 85 percent of our revenues generated from outside of Tucson, opening a satellite office in Phoenix was kind of a no brainer. It just makes sense from a sales and servicing perspective. Equally important, we’ll now be in an even better position to tap into the steady stream of top engineering talent that’s brewing over at ASU.”
