Creel Secures Exclusive Publishing Contract from The Christian Science Publishing Society
LAS VEGAS—Feb. 28, 2012—Creel Printing has been selected as the exclusive publishing partner for The Christian Science Publishing Society (CSPS). Creel will handle production, versioning and distribution of the CSPS’s entire print lineup—including the print and digital editions of The Christian Science Monitor.
The selection follows Creel’s prior success with fulfilling the complex production requirements of The Christian Science Monitor—the CSPS’s weekly international news magazine distributed worldwide.
“This was a significant move for our company,” said Michael Zanoni, manager of the CSPS. “Creel has demonstrated its ability to be an effective partner, and we look forward to our expanded relationship.”
CSPS will utilize Creel’s proprietary versioning, interactive advertiser tools, and subscriber solutions to maximize readership and circulation for The Christian Science Monitor, The Christian Science Journal, Christian Science Sentinel, and the Christian Science Quarterly family of products. Additionally, Creel’s digital delivery, directed co-mingling/co-palletizing functions, and close USPS relationship will help improve publication delivery time while employing new efficiencies to reduce distribution costs.
“We are proud to be part of the CSPS’s outstanding publishing heritage,” commented Allan G. Creel, president of Creel Printing. “We are committed to extending their success and are implementing measures to ensure a seamless transition.”
Established in 1898, The CSPS is the publishing arm of The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston. It produces a number of high-volume periodicals and Christian Science materials read around the world.
