Customers Enhance Their Printing Plants with Solutions from Heidelberg
Rose Press Makes It Two for One with Automated Platesetter from Heidelberg
Rose Press, Mount Vernon, NY, reports the installation of a Suprasetter A75 CTP device configured for use with Heidelberg Saphira processless plates. The new platesetter replaces a pair of competitive devices, and enables the firm to image 50 percent more plates for use in all of the company’s Heidelberg presses: a Printmaster QM 46-2, five-color GTO, two-color SM 74, five-color CD 74, and six-color CD 74. Owner Pat Mondesano appreciates the new machine’s convenient, smaller footprint, as well as the automatic plate-loading system that enables hands-off plate production when needed.
“We’ve had no problems whatever,” Mondesano said, adding that he has always been “very happy” with Heidelberg service and support of his pressroom equipment, and expects the same will be true of the new Suprasetter.
Rose Press specializes in “expedited” printing where, as Mondesano put it, “the fires are hot and nobody knows how to put them out as well or as consistently as we do.” The company serves a client base located throughout the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area.
