Colter & Peterson (Booth 4013) is featuring two new paper cutting systems.
The new E-Cut series is designed to be an economical line of paper cutters which offer steady and reliable performance, a simple controller, and a low price. The E-Cut series comprises two systems.
The first is a 45" Saber paper cutting system with automated knife adjustment designed for greater productivity. The new Saber system offers the same features and benefits for which the brand is known, including its reputation as a workhorse. The second is a 31" Prism paper cutter, known for the precision accuracy of its high-speed steel knives, and its rugged durability.
Both machines are showcased with the Microcut PLUS Cutter Control System, which features a programmable touchscreen and new software with enhanced graphics for converted JDF files. The color-coordinated graphics program allows operators to see what they are cutting so they can determine what to keep and what to discard. Other benefits include microcip and microfacts features, where programs are uploaded from the network connection with a USB device using CIP3 and CIP4 files. It can increase production by as much as 50%.
“People know we are the source for new and refurbished machines with the latest electronics,” says Bruce Peterson, President of Colter & Peterson. “Our new E-Line, plus the Saber and Prism brands with their new machines, will give any shop a lot of firepower and help with their overall productivity on the back end.”
