Mitchell Press Swings Deal for Teldon Media Group

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA—Mitchell Press has acquired Teldon Media Group, creating what the company termed the Pacific Northwest’s largest independently owned provider of heatset web offset printing services. This division of Teldon Media Group provides end-to-end printing services for customers across Canada and the United States, including digital, sheetfed and web printing.

This acquisition is expected to enable Mitchell to expand its portfolio of equipment and services. With this acquisition, Mitchell will add significant volume to its operation, while also adding the required equipment to ensure there is always available capacity to manage a significant increase in demand for web printing services.

Teldon will continue to operate the other divisions of its business, including Teldon Marketing Products and Alive Publishing. By divesting of Teldon Print Media, Teldon will be able to focus its resources on its remaining businesses, both of which have been experiencing growth over the past three years. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed.
