Man Identified Who Fell Through LA Paper Mill

WEST MONROE, LA—June 7, 2013—A man who fell through a hole at the Graphic Packaging paper mill was identified Thursday, as Alfredo Zavala, 37, The News Star reported. According to Maj. Jason Pleasant, Zavala was employed as a contractor with Industrial Roofing based in Sterlington, LA.

A Graphic Packaging corporate communications official, Trisha Taylor, said Zavala died after falling through a hole in the roof of a building on the mill's property Wednesday. According to the The News Star, the incident still remains under investigation.
