BOLINGBROOK, IL—Goss International has joined the CIP4 (The International Co-operation for Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress) organization as a full member. "CIP4 membership formally acknowledges that our advanced JDF-based solutions deliver optimum versatility and compatibility," says Volker Rendl, director of workflow R&D for Goss. The company says it has integrated CIP4/JDF applications across its range of commercial and newspaper products, and is now focusing on JDF-compatible interfaces for its existing double-width newspaper presses.
