ROCHESTER, NY—Kodak's Graphic Communications Group (GCG) has introduced a new "Certified Process for Color Confirmation" for its Veris proofer. The system checks that a proof complies with the color standards (industry or user-defined) specified for that job, then prints the appropriate color-managed color test strip on the proof, confirms that the specified color tolerances have been achieved and prints a proof-specific certification label.
