Digital Packaging Summit Focuses on Strategy and the Business Case for Digital Solutions
PHILADELPHIA and MARSHFIELD, Mass.—June 18, 2015—The Digital Packaging Summit 2015 will take place Nov. 9-11, at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The Summit is a hosted, invitation-only conference designed for senior managers and executives in label and package printing and converting who want to understand how current and future digital printing technology and software will impact their business and investment decisions. Produced by NAPCO Media and nGage Events, the format is the same as the Inkjet Summit and offers strategic-level insights into what printing industry leaders must do to grow, improve, and optimize their businesses.
"Having been involved with digital printing for packaging for more than two decades, I am seeing clear momentum building in all areas of packaging in regards to digital technologies. The Digital Packaging Summit is perfectly timed as needs and technologies converge," said Conference Chair, Kevin Karstedt, CEO of Karstedt Partners LLC. "The Summit is focused on understanding the business case and strategy for digital. The format and agenda are unique because attendees learn not only through keynotes, general sessions and panels, but also through peer breakout sessions, user spotlights, and meetings...the attendees are part of the content and learning."
The Digital Packaging Summit focuses on how widespread changes taking place today are redefining the future of label and package printing. Attendees will meet and learn from leading labels and packaging experts through a conference program led by Kevin Karstedt and a team of key advisory board members and speakers.
Some of the conference sessions include:

The invitation-only, hosted format provides a unique and valuable experience for attendees to acquire knowledge from the "who's who" in the label and package printing space through keynote sessions, end-user panels, case studies, segment-focused breakout sessions, as well as numerous networking activities and receptions.
While printers and converters are seeking information and guidance, suppliers are looking for ways to identify and develop relationships with decision makers. The Summit provides sponsors with private case study presentations and pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings with packaging executives who are intimately involved with strategy and purchasing across the label and folding carton segments. Sponsors include: Fujifilm, Heidelberg, Kodak, Mark Andy, Screen Americas, Xeikon, Xerox, Memjet, Colordyne, Afinia Label, INX Ink, and more.
"Our goal is to bring together leading suppliers and attendees in an intimate learning and educational environment facilitated by experts. Attendees will learn from experts, leading suppliers and, most importantly, their peers, about how to adopt new solutions and be successful," said Brian Ludwick, executive vice president and publisher, packagePRINTING Magazine. "The Inkjet Summit accomplished this for commercial printers and the Digital Packaging Summit will be a win-win for both sponsors and attendees in the packaging market."
