DGM Announces Sale of a Foildex System to Utah Paper Box
DŰSSELDORF, GERMANY—May 6, 2012—Diversified Graphic Machinery, a global leader in print enhancement technology has announced a significant sale of its Foildex cold Foil and Filmdex UV cast and cure system to Utah Paper Box, Salt Lake City, UT. The sale and purchase was announced jointly from the DGM exhibit at drupa 2012 by Michael DeBard, president of Diversified Graphic Machinery and Steve Keyser, president of Utah Paper Box.
“We are extremely pleased to have Utah Paper Box, one of the premier packaging companies in North America select our Foildex™ technology that will be installed on its manroland 707 press in the company’s new ultra-modern facility,” stated DeBard. “This will be a unique installation as the Foildex system will have Interdeck Docking Ports and will give them the ability to use the system on different press towers.”
Commenting on their purchase, Keyser added, “We have been monitoring the development of cold foil and cast and cure applications in folding carton production for some time and are now convinced that the DGM system offers the optimum in both application expertise and low cost functionality. We look forward in introducing these exciting new technologies into our product lines.”
