Standard Group Obtains Donald Blyler Offset

READING, PA—The Standard Group, based here, has acquired Donald Blyler Offset (DBO) of Lebanon, PA. Scott Vaughn, CEO of the $25 million Standard Group, said that has firm has long admired DBO for the way it treats its employees and customers, as well as the quality of printing it produces.

DBO will continue to operate as a standalone organization for the foreseeable future, according to Vaughn. John Hyde, NAPL senior vice president, and the NAPL M&A Consulting Practice facilitated the acquisition.

Donald Blyler, owner of DBO, said that in the past his firm had turned down many transactional opportunities with "very good printing companies" because they were not a good fit. Blyler was impressed when he toured The Standard Group and is encouraged about the future direction of the company.
