Looking to upgrade their outdated punch press, Dorian’s President John Mark, and Manager Matt Davis met with Rollem’s Sales Manager, Doug Sherwood, at the Printing United Expo in 2022 and were instantly intrigued by Rollem’s line of Insignia Die Cutters. “After running successful 24 pt. samples at Rollem’s Anaheim facility, it was unquestionable that the Insignia6H would be the most useful solution to simplify production and increase the quality of our 21-up school ID cards, kiss cut sticker liner stock, and to improve production of our presentation folders”, states John Mark. “The Insignia6H offers versatility that will allow Dorian to painlessly expand our product line in the future”, continued Mark.
The Insignia Dual Magnetic Configuration offers multiple application variations and is especially ideal for users looking to produce packaging products and cut thicker materials. The dual magnetic "H" model utilizes two flexible 'male/female' dies to channel score or emboss substrates. Alternatively, this system can accept a single upper cutting die while utilizing a lower solid "blanket" or "jacket" die on the bottom magnetic cylinder to act as the cutting surface when strictly cutting a substrate.
The Insignia Series of Die Cutters include die-cutting, kiss-cutting, embossing, perforating, scoring, creasing, and hole punching as standard with any Insignia model and can run in-line with Rollem’s folding/gluing unit. The Insignia6H model (sheet size 20x20”) cuts up to 24 pt. thickness and utilizes dies that are produced at tolerances of less than 0.001”/0.02mm. Insignia die cutters are proudly made in the U.S.A.
