Dreamworks Adds a Second Komori Press, a Lithrone G40, to Its Fleet

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.  - October 24, 2017 - Komori America announced today that Dreamworks Graphic Communications LLC, a premier printing company that provides advanced printing capabilities for some of the nation’s most elite brands, agencies and corporations, has recently replaced an existing manroland press with its second Komori.

Since its inception in in 2009, Glenview, Ill.-based Dreamworks Graphic Communications has more than tripled its revenues with the ability to produce high-impact, high-quality unique printing projects for its nationwide clientele. The six-color Lithrone G40, equipped with coater (GL640C) and conventional UV, will expand the company’s capabilities and offer greater operational efficiencies.

Many of the company’s customers are household names in the retail and entertainment industry. The KHS-AI system, intelligent software with a self-learning function, adjusts register and color matching within 20 sheets of print start up, saves on time and waste and offers a PDC-SX print density control capability that controls densities and automatically adjusts register.
