DS Graphics Expands Its Digital Services Offering with New HP Inkjet Web Press
PALO ALTO, CA—July 12, 2012—HP announced that DS Graphics has installed an HP T200 color inkjet web press, enabling the communications services provider to double its business volume with some clients and expand its portfolio of services.
“The HP Inkjet Web Press widens our offerings for existing clients and sets us apart from competitors,” said Bill Nethercote, executive vice president, DS Graphics. “This equipment, with its roll-fed technology, is taking our company to the next level, with greater flexibility and efficiency against cut-sheet devices.”
Based in Lowell, MA, DS Graphics mainly serves clients in healthcare, finance, insurance, education, technology and non-profits sectors. The new HP T200 extends its current digital portfolio, including an HP Indigo 7000 digital press, bolstering the company’s variable-data capabilities to help clients take full advantage of high-volume and affordable customized print campaigns.
While most of its new business stems from financial services, DS Graphics also uses the T200 with a Hunkeler in-line finishing solution to produce campaigns for non-profit clients. With speeds of up to 200 fpm and the capacity for complete customization, the HP T200 allows the company to quickly generate high impact.
DS Graphics can create tailored materials with data collected the same week as production, which decreases lead time, increases accuracy of messaging and ensures potential donors receive only the most appropriate information.
