Ready for Next Growth Stage, Dscoop Announces Leadership Transition
Keith Wilmot, CEO of Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative), the world’s largest digital print community, will step down from his role in 2022 as the organization prepares for its next stage of growth.
Dscoop empowers 10,000+ members in 90 countries with education, events, networking opportunities and more, and the community is renowned for its members’ spirit of idea-sharing and innovation.
“Following a transformational time in our industry, and with positive momentum heading into next year, Keith, the Dscoop Board and HP jointly agreed that it’s an appropriate and good time for change,” said Dscoop Chairman Jon Bailey. “Keith put in place a team and process to succeed, and has been instrumental in the transformation of Dscoop into a year-round community of members learning and connecting every day.”
Dscoop is run by HP graphic arts customers, with an ecosystem that includes printers, partners, suppliers, students and schools, analysts, industry experts, creatives and HP. Dscoop is like a power cord for that network, plugging members into strategies, tools, events and each other. Member feedback and participation drives those programs, which are delivered both in-person and online at Dscoop.com.
“Dscoop has become so much more than just a one-time event,” said Peter van Teeseling, Chief Operation Officer at Dscoop. “We have established the first phase of our year-round community and are working hard to build on this foundation. Our members are helping to drive the digital transformation of the print industry, and Dscoop exists to support, guide and inspire them.”
Haim Levit, Senior Vice President & General Manager of HP Indigo, said HP is committed to continuing its 16-year partnership with Dscoop. “Over the past few years, Dscoop has proven beyond expectation the value and benefit of this community for members and partners. HP will continue to invest in Dscoop, now more than ever, increasing our support and leading the digital transformation of the print industry together.”
Levit said HP expects to have an extensive presence at Dscoop’s upcoming Edge Rockies event, to be held March 6-9, 2022, at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center.
