Dscoop8 to Offer In-depth ‘Spark’ Sessions to Ignite Business Growth
CHICAGO—Dec. 19, 2012—Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative) is pleased to announce the addition of “Spark” sessions to the 2013 Dscoop annual conference that is scheduled to take place from Feb. 21-23, 2013, at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention Center in Nashville. This new education opportunity is just a sample of the robust 90 session offerings attendees will find at Dscoop 8.
These optional sessions will offer a unique opportunity to dive deep into specific topics that can spark and motivate growth and change within digital print businesses.
Spark topics will be led by industry leaders from RIT, Infotrends and HP and will be held in two separate sessions on Thursday, Feb. 21. Attendees can choose between topics that include:
- Selling Digital Value Proposition for Labels
- Building a Strategic Marketing Plan
- Targeting Sign and Display Vertical Markets for Growth
- Social Media in an Evolving Industry
- Digital Marketing Toolkit
- Financial Analysis
“Dscoop caters to our members’ needs, and what we’ve heard is that members are looking for opportunities to have in-depth education on targeted topics to guide their company through these challenging times,” said Howard Owen, Dscoop8 chairman and owner of Stafford Printing. “I’m proud that we’re providing tools and education to attendees that they cannot get anywhere else.”
Dscoop members must pre-register for Spark sessions. There’s no additional fee for participants who register before Jan. 7, 2013. After 12 p.m. CST on Jan 7, a $50 registration fee will be required to attend one or both sessions. This fee includes a meal voucher that can be used for breakfast and lunch.
Over its seven-year history, the Dscoop annual conference has grown steadily in attendance as well as partner participation. The 2012 event in Washington, DC, attracted more than 2,000 print professionals and 95 partners that provide complementary products and services to graphic arts businesses. Dscoop will maintain this momentum at its 2013 event with a strong program lineup of speakers who will help “Spark” business.
