In the bookletmaking area, visitors can expect to see a full range of solutions to meet today’s digital printer demands including the recently-released DBMi Saddle System. First in its class to deliver letter landscape booklets, the DBMi combines PC-based programming and intelligent feeding with state-of-the-art scoring and folding technology to produce thicker, flatter books up to 4,500 books an hour. Three-knife trimming capabilities can be added with the optional DKT-200 Two-Knife Trimmer and gutter cutter, which can also process two-up applications—boosting its production up to 9,000 books an hour!
