OCEAN, NJ—March 31, 2015—Eagle Systems, a U.S. based developer and manufacturer of foil enhancement equipment, was not only well received at this month’s Print UV 2015 conference, but its message has reverberated throughout the industry. As the only cold foil exhibitor, Eagle Systems, and more specifically President and CEO Mike King, received celebrity-like attention.
“As I always say, ‘Everyone loves Cold Foil, and if you don’t then you just don’t know enough about it yet,’” noted King. “As a Platinum Sponsor of the conference, I was allowed to present to a packed session of over 200 attendees. It goes to show that there’s a very keen interest among industry leaders, as well as need to better understand this technology. After 30-minutes of explaining how printers worldwide are maximizing their revenue streams via cold foil, I was swamped. I spent another 20 minutes just answering questions on the session floor. This was followed by our exhibit table running out of samples.”
“I attribute this to the fact that our systems tried and true," he said. "Our systems are not only real, but real good. We have systems all over the world and our reliability rates are off the charts. Hot and Cold Foil is what I do and I take great pride in seeing commercial and packaging printers succeed via my passion.”
For more than 25 years, Eagle Systems has been an industry leader in the design and manufacture of foil application and print enhancement equipment. With hundreds of installations around the world and two recently-established offices in Europe, the Eagle Systems brand has globally become synonymous with quality, reliability and state of the art innovation.

The Eco-Eagle Cold Foil System
The Eco-Eagle Cold Foil system is a value-added finishing technique for cold foil applications. The add-on system can retrofit to new or existing UV or conventional 28-inch up to 80-inch sheet-fed offset presses from most major press manufacturers. It offers users the flexibility to apply a single 40-inch width of foil or multiple widths of foil, in any combination, as narrow as 2 inches. This ability greatly reduces foil cost and consumption. In addition, the cold foil system operates on about the same amount of electricity as a 1,500 watt hair dryer, reducing energy demands in production environments. This year, Eagle Systems has added the ability to use a 16,000k foil roll which allows for less change over during a job run.
